Shift Based Usage Table Widget¶
Part of the Widget View guide.
The Shift Based Usage Table Widget interface allows users to create a shift-based usage table widget with different timeframe and size information. It enables operational teams to cross-examine resource utilization or parameters organized into a structured matrix layout across distinct work shifts within a designated dashboard view.
Step 1¶
First, look at the top right corner of the interface. The View dropdown displays the pre-existing dashboard view inside which you are currently creating this widget. If needed, click the copy icon next to it to copy this View ID for sharing or reference.

Step 2¶
Provide an appropriate name under Widget Label, select a Widget Width, select a Widget Height, choose a Background Color, and select a Timeframe from their respective dropdown fields under Widget details.

Step 3¶
Scroll down to the Add Parameter section to define your calculation and asset sources. Depending on your configuration needs, you can toggle the Param Equation switch at the top right corner of the section to map direct machine values or custom calculation layers:
Option A: Standard Parameter Mapping (Param Equation Toggle OFF)¶
Choose a specific Workspace from the dropdown menu, select your target asset using the Machine dropdown menu, and choose one or more machine parameters from the Params dropdown menu. Your selections will appear as individual tag chips directly below the field.

Option B: Equation-Based Mapping (Param Equation Toggle ON)¶
Switch the Param Equation toggle to the right.
-
Select your pre-configured mathematical formula from the Equations dropdown menu.
-
Enter a numerical tracking factor inside the Multiplier text box.
-
Select the targeted shift schedule layer using the Shifts dropdown menu.
-
Note: The use of parameter equations is currently in an alpha development stage.
Finally click Create.
