Resource Management¶
Resource Management is where you maintain the people available for shopfloor work — employees and contractors — along with their skills, and where you assign them to shifts.
Key concepts¶
| Concept | Description |

| Resource | An employee or contractor available for shopfloor work |
| Skill | An entry in a shared skill catalog (e.g. "Coil Winding") that can be assigned to resources |
| Shift Assignment | A record of which resource is assigned to which shift, on which date, and optionally against which Work Order |
