VFD Dashboard

The VFD Dashboard is displayed automatically at the top of a VFD machine's detail page. It refreshes in real time using the live data stream and gives operators and engineers a complete picture of the drive's current state.

Drive State panel

The large state badge in the top-left card shows the current operational state of the drive, derived from the Status Word (Par 16-03):

State Meaning
Running Drive is operating and producing output
Ready Drive is powered and ready to start
Faulted A trip condition is active
Trip-locked A triplock condition requires manual reset
Coasting Drive output disabled — motor freewheeling
No Data Stream not yet received or param not mapped

The drive family name and rated power are shown below the state badge once configured.

Active Faults and Active Warnings cards

The two summary cards show the count of currently active alarm bits and warning bits decoded from the live word registers. The fault count turns red and the warning count turns amber when conditions are present.

Active Conditions list

When any alarm, warning, or extended-status bit is set, the active conditions list appears below the summary cards. Each row shows:

  • The condition name and alarm code
  • A severity badge (Info / Warning / Trip / Triplock)
  • An SOP button — opens a step-by-step troubleshooting guide for that specific fault
  • An Ack button — acknowledges the event once the issue has been reviewed

Once a condition clears (the bit returns to zero), it disappears from this list and is recorded in the Alarm History.

Tip

If the list is empty and the mapping is configured, a green "No active faults or warnings" banner confirms the drive is operating normally.

Maintenance Due

If any Maintenance Word bits are set, a Maintenance Due card appears listing which items are overdue (bearings, filter, fan belt, etc.). These are configured on the drive itself via Par 23-xx intervals.

A grid of sparkline cards, one per analog parameter attached to the machine (speed, current, power, temperatures, DC link voltage, etc.). Each card shows:

  • The live value at the top in large text
  • A sparkline of the historical trend for the selected period
  • The min / max values for the period at the bottom

Period selector: 24 h, 7 d, or 30 d — appears in the top-right of the card header.

Expanded view: Click any sparkline card to open a full-size chart with a detailed tooltip, min/max/avg statistics, and the same period selector.

Note

Only parameters that are not word-register params appear here. Word registers (alarm, warning, status, etc.) are shown in the Word Registers panel, not in health trends.
