Consumption Pie Widget

Part of the Widget View guide.

The Consumption Pie Widget interface allows users to create consumption pie widgets with different timeframe and size information. It enables operational teams to visualize the proportional breakdown and distribution of consumption parameters across machines within a designated dashboard view.

Step 1

First, look at the top right corner of the interface. The View dropdown displays the pre-existing dashboard view inside which you are currently creating this widget. If needed, click the copy icon next to it to copy this View ID for sharing or reference.

Step 2

Provide an appropriate name under Widget Label, select a Widget Width, select a Widget Height, select a TimeFrame and choose a Background Color from their respective dropdown fields under Widget details.

You can also customize the gauge behavior by toggling the following configuration checkboxes:

  • Legend : Displays a labeled color key alongside the chart to easily identify each plotted parameter.

  • Pie : Toggles the visual chart layout between a pie chart format and a donut chart format.

  • Show Contrast Color : Displays the chart slices in multiple contrasting colors instead of a single theme color.
