Energy Management System

The Energy Management System (EMS) in Enture gives you a unified view of your facility's energy — how much you're consuming, where it's coming from, what your peak demand looks like, and how power quality is trending. All data flows from your connected energy meters and is processed through the platform's timeseries pipeline, so figures update automatically as readings arrive.

Key concepts

Concept Description
Incomer An energy source feeding your facility — typically a utility supply (EB), solar inverter, wind turbine, or diesel generator (DG). Each incomer maps to a machine in the Digital Twin.
Energy source type The classification of an incomer: EB, SOLAR, WIND, or DG.
Utilization section A logical grouping of machines that share energy (e.g. Compressor Hall, Production Line 1). A machine can contribute a weighted share of its consumption to a section.
Peak demand The highest power demand recorded over a period, expressed in kW or kVA. Used by utilities to determine demand charges.
Power factor (PF) The ratio of active power to apparent power (0–1). A PF below 0.9 typically incurs utility penalties.
Share A number between 0 and 1 that defines what fraction of a machine's energy is counted toward a utilization section. Default is 1 (100%).
