Till-Date Pie Chart Widget for Parent Organisation¶

Part of the Widget View guide.

The TillDate Pie Chart Widget for Parent Organisation interface allows users to create till date pie chart widget for parent organisation with different timeframe and size information. It enables operations teams to visualize proportional data distributions for historical operational metrics compiled up to the current date within a designated dashboard view.

Step 1¶

First, look at the top right corner of the interface. The View dropdown displays the pre-existing dashboard view inside which you are currently creating this widget. If needed, you can click the copy icon next to it to copy this View ID for your records.

Step 2¶

Provide an appropriate name under Widget Label, select a Widget Width, select a Widget Height, choose a Background Color, and select a TimeFrame from their respective dropdown fields under Widget details.

Choose your preferred narrative style or format from the Text View dropdown menu.
Check the Legend box if you want to display an explanatory key alongside the data slices.
Check the Pie box to establish the default circular chart layout structure.

Step 3¶

Scroll down to the parameter configuration section. You can use the slider switch at the top right corner to select your mapping method:

Option A: Standard Parameter Mapping (Add Params Toggle ON)¶

Provide a custom name under Param Label, choose your target Workspace, select the target asset under Machine, and pick the specific metric tracking sources from the Params dropdown menu. Click Add Param To List + to save your parameters into the data table.

Option B: Equation-Based Mapping (Add Equation Toggle ON)¶

Provide a custom calculation name under Param Label. Next, type your configuration limit inside the Enter No of Machines input field and click the Enter button.

Note: Once you hit Enter, the hidden Workspace, Machine, and Params field options will dynamically become visible on your screen, allowing you to configure data strings, choose operators, and click Add to format your custom formula.

Click Add Equation to List + to lock the string down into your configuration tracker.

Finally, click Create.
