QR-Scan Reconciliation¶

QR-scan reconciliation lets operators confirm, at the moment they start work, that the physical line or machine in front of them actually matches what was planned for a Work Order — using a QR label stuck on the equipment itself.

Setting up QR tags¶

Before reconciliation can work, someone with engineer access needs to tag your lines and machines with QR codes and get a physical label onto the equipment.

Open Settings ▸ Engineering ▸ QR Asset Tags and click Add QR Tag:

For the QR code itself, you can:

• Click Generate to create a new random code — the normal choice for a fresh, never-before-printed label.
• Click Scan to scan an existing physical label (e.g. one already printed for another purpose you want to reuse).
• Type a code by hand.

As soon as a code is set, a preview of the QR image appears. Click Print to print that label — the same Print action is also available on any already-saved tag's row in the list, so you can reprint a lost or damaged label at any time without recreating the tag.

Scanning when opening a Job Card¶

If a Work Order has a Planned Line or Planned Machine set, opening one of its Job Cards prompts a QR scan first — scan the label on the line or machine you're actually standing at.

• If it matches what was planned, the Job Card opens immediately — no extra step.
• If it doesn't match (or the code isn't recognized as a tagged asset), a dialog shows what was planned versus what was scanned. You can still click Proceed Anyway to continue — a wrong or missing label shouldn't stop you from working — but the mismatch is recorded for later review.
• If the Work Order has no planned line or machine at all, there's nothing to check and the Job Card opens straight away.
