Production Loggers
Production loggers enable user-based logging of production data, which is used to map all your production. It can also be used to map energy and derive efficiency.
Creating Production Loggers:
- To create production loggers, choose “Logbook” from the menu.
- Once you open the logbook, turn on the settings mode (on the top right corner).
- You will see two options: “Access Industry Loggers” and “Create Production Loggers” (highlighted).
- Choose “Create Production Loggers”.
- Then, you will see a page open (as shown below).

- Enter the name (of your choice).
- Choose the input type from the dropdown: list or text.
- If you select “list”, a tab will appear showing a dropdown list of workspaces. Select as per your choice and enter the input name.
- If you select “text”, just enter the input name.
- Similarly, choose the output type from the dropdown: list or text.
- If you select “list”, a dropdown list will appear to choose a workspace. Enter the output name.
- If you select “text”, just enter the output name.
- Enter the Param name, choose the workspace, param type, and device from the dropdown.
- Choose the output Params (multiple options can be selected).
- You will see two checkboxes: “Compute Production” and “Compute Energy”.
Compute Production:

If you select Compute Production, you must calculate production by choosing the required fields. A formula will be provided.

Production Operator – Choose an operator from the dropdown (+, -, *, ^) to be used in calculations.

Production Correction Factor – Enter a correction value that will be applied in the calculation.

Production Multiplier – Three options:
- None:
Production = (Param + Correction Factor)
- Input:
Production = (Param + Correction Factor) * Input
- Output:
Production = (Param + Correction Factor) * (Output ^ Correction Factor)
- None:

Enter the production unit.
Compute Energy:
- If you choose Compute Energy, select the energy param type from the dropdown (parameter, computed param, combo param).
- For parameter and computed param, choose workspace, energy device, and energy param.
- For combo param, choose only the energy param.
- After filling in the details, click “Create” to create the production logger.
Updating/Deleting Production Loggers:
- Click on the created production logger.
- You will see a page (as shown below).
- Click the pencil icon to edit, make changes, and click “Edit” to update.
- To delete, click the delete icon.

Usage:
View Log:
- Select the dates for which you want to fetch log details and click “View Log” to fetch the last 15 days of logs.
Add Filter:
- Click “Add Filter” to refine the results.
- Choose a param from the dropdown.
- Click “Add Filter” to apply it.

Write in Log Book:
- Click on an existing production logger.
- A dialog box will appear showing “Write in Log Book”.
- Enter the date, choose From and To time, input/output values, select a param, enter remarks, and click “Write”.
- A confirmation message “Log is written” will appear.
- To delete log data, click the down arrow next to a log entry and select the delete icon.
