Best Practices¶
Image Quality¶

- Use PNG for graphics, JPG for photos
Sizing¶
- Start at 1x zoom and adjust as needed
- Maintain consistent sizes for similar image types
- Consider the overall diagram scale
Positioning¶
- Align images with other diagram elements
- Leave space around images for labels
- Position logos in corners where they won't interfere with the diagram content
File Management¶
- Use descriptive file names for easier identification
- Keep original image files accessible for future updates
- Consider creating a library of commonly used images
Tips¶
- Transparency: Use PNG format if you need transparent backgrounds
- Scaling: Upload larger images and scale down for best quality when zooming
- Performance: Very large images may slow down the diagram - optimize before uploading
- Layering: Images appear in the order they're added - add background images first
